Phoenix

This mystical bird builds it’s nest in
a fire pit. Once the
bird has lived the
full cycle of its life,
it will crash down
into the ashes of its
fiery nest and die,
only to be reborn,
and once again
begin the
never-ending cycle.

Ember Colton wakes up alone in a strange bed, in a strange house, and can’t remember how she got there! Her clothes were torn, and her pantyhose and underwear are missing.

Hearing voices, she stumbles to the bedroom door and sees the handsome man who had bought her a drink the night before, and another man’s hand, wearing an unusual silver ring, holding a gun! The next thing she knows, she's running for her life!

Using her special gift of automatic drawing, she can draw the past, present or future. With this uncanny ability, she uses her artwork, while in a trance, to draw photographic-like renditions of the criminals. But, as the only witness, she must run, or die!

Her brother, police Detective Brett Colton, hires his friend and fellow cop, Phoenix McCoy, to hide and protect Ember from the criminal called Birdman. When the striking Ojibwa’s eyes meet Ember’s, sparks fly and they find themselves drawn together like moths to a flame.

Now, Ember must overcome her fear of men, and spend time with a man who makes her heart ache and her spine tingle. Unable to resist the flames that draw them together, Ember and Phoenix must look death in the eye and fight to live...and love!

The only obstacle in their way is a murdering drug lord!
