Partner to Jordi Hazzard and Piper Preston at 7th Eye Private Investigations, Lee Everett battles to control his gift as a Trans-Medium-Channeler. He literally speaks for the dead when they use his body to talk to the living. However, sometimes Lee can't stop spirits from entering his body, pushing his own spirit aside as they speak for him or use him against his will.

After Jordi sends him to a special laboratory for the psychic to learn to gain control of his abilities, he meets Sage Kirkland, a Creole French woman who works as a psychic lab technologist whose job it is to help Lee learn to block out unwanted spirits or be aware of them when he's 'taken over' by them. Little does he know that she's keeping secrets from him that could destroy them both as well as the 7th Eye team!

Feeling like he's made some progress, Lee places his trust in Sage only to wake up one day in a strange bed on a Caribbean island, married to her and very confused.

Sage's job for the man she's trying to catch red handed stealing antiquities turns out to be a big challenge when she falls for Lee, hook, line, and sinker. In order for her to allow her heart to open to him without getting hurt, she must reveal her true identity, placing them both in serious danger.

Unknowingly, Lee's body becomes the home of an evil spirit, Jabaar, damned for an eternal existence in hell and out for revenge against 7th Eye for his death during a robbery. Along for the ride, a demon, Djab, strives to not only kill Lee's spirit so he can keep his body, but also to take Sage and impregnate her with his demon seed, destroying Jabaar as well.

Lee is caught between a rock and a hard place with love on one side and vengeance on the other. Sage isn't sure if she's in love with Lee, or with the evil spirit within him that makes him turn from a gentle man into an ultimate bad boy. Only evicting the spirits will give them both the answers they seek.
