When Teal Greenwood’s prophetic dream of her husband and son’s deaths comes true, she sells everything she owns and leaves Canada, running away to a tropical paradise.

Riddled with guilt and sorrow for not stopping her husband and son from taking the fatal fishing trip, she hides in a safe cocoon of depression. Poppy, hired to take care of Teal, takes matters into her own hands, and brings in a starving, pregnant teen to pull Teal out of her hideaway, calling on her maternal instincts.

Losing three years of his life, his wife, and his two daughters, after being hit by a drunk driver, ex-cop Camden Brooke turns his back on Canada, and finds a new life in Jamaica. He starts a construction business, hiring some locals.

Hired by Teal’s employee, Delon, to build an addition on her home, Cam meets the woman whose eyes are the colour of the Caribbean sea, and falls head over heels for her. The distance she tries to keep from him only lures him in closer. Can he teach her to love again and let go of guilt and sorrow?

The lilting sound of her flute echoes through the hills, capturing the attention of a local drug lord who decides to make Teal his. Cam and his new friends must come to the rescue, but can they change her prophetic dream’s outcome, to save the day?
